01In the app
- Open Folia and sign in.
- Go to More → Account → Data & Privacy.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm with your password, or with Google if you sign in with Google.

02Without the app
Email privacy@simplyfolia.com from the address you use for Folia and ask us to delete your account. We’ll confirm it’s you, delete it within 30 days and let you know when it’s done.
03What’s deleted
- Your account: email address, password or Google sign-in details, name and profile photo.
- Your settings, preferences, and the feedback you’ve sent us.
- If you’re the only member of your household: all its plants, rooms, photos, reminders, care history, notes and health checks.
- If others share your household, they keep the plants and their history; care you logged stays but is no longer linked to you.
- Your friend connections and the reactions and notes you sent.
04What’s kept, and for how long
Deletion is immediate. Short-lived counters we use to prevent abuse (sign-in attempts, exports, health checks, password reset requests) expire within two days. Our hosting provider’s technical logs are kept for a short time and then deleted. Our database keeps an automatic restore history for up to 30 days, used only to recover from technical failures; after that, deleted data is gone for good.
